General English - the course for most people. 
You can start any Monday and stay as many weeks as you like but we recommend you stay at least 3 weeks.
You can have morning lessons, 15 hours per week, or morrning and afternoon lessons, 25 hours a week.
When you arrive we give you a short test to find your level of English then you join the class that's good for you.We have classes at all levels from elementary to advanced.

Examinations
Cambridge IELTS
This Cambridge exam is the one most frequently required by UK colleges/universities and professional organisations.
It is also recognised internationally as a measurement of your level of English.
You can take the exam very frequently and you get the result in two weeks.You do not pass or fail; you are given a score. This exam tests your use of English; there is no formal grammar paper.
To prepare we offer a course of afternoon lessons (10 hours per week) for 5 weeks. You need a higher intermediate or advanced level of general English plus the exam techniques and practice you learn on this afternoon course. We recommend you also take general English in the mornings (15 hours) to achieve your best score.

Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) - higher intermediate Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) - advanced
The Cambridge examinations for speakers of other languages are recognised internationally as a measurement of your ability in English.
When your general English is at the level required for the exam you can take a 5 week course in the afternoons (Monday to Friday 1.15-3.15 p.m.) to learn exam techniques and gain exam practice.
To achieve your best result we recommend you take general English in the mornings at the same time. You can take 2 courses (10 weeks) if you wish. For course and examination dates please go to Prices and Course dates

Beginners and students with very little English
If you have only a very little English you will need some special help at first. Please come at the beginning of a course for those with very little English. You can have 15 or 25 hours tuition a week and stay as many weeks as you like.
